In 2020 I followed a set of suggested drawing prompts posted at Inktober.com. This year I followed my heart and drew whatever felt appropriate each day. Therefore I sometimes used the suggested prompts, and on other days I instead represented my own ideas.
Here are the suggested prompts posted at Inktober.com:
We are now in a climate emergency, code red, as emphasized by a recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In light of this, I have integrated my enjoyment of drawing with my desire to help save the planet from the rapidly accelerating effects of climate change, for the sake of current and future generations. So each drawing has an ecology or environmental protection theme, and is accompanied by a climate action message.
As ink is not my usual medium, all of these drawings are simple subjects.
